Pros & Cons

The best part of the 2010 Toyota Prius model will be its great mileage. It is expected to achieve fuel economy of 50 miles per gallon. The navigation system with integrated traffic report system and the accelerator sensitivity will be among other performance features.

On the negative side of the car, the future model will not have efficient vehicle handling amenities. Lack of USB or the iPod integration to the stereo may disappoint the music lovers and the navigation system working will not satisfy drivers.

When compared with its previous version, the 2010 Toyota Prius will be a better car. The sample model of the car was shown at the Detroit Auto Show. With innovative design features, enhanced performance and better mileage ratings the 2010 Toyota Prius is ready to hit the car market in the spring of 2010.

Engines

The full hybrid version, the 2010 Toyota Prius will have the capacity to run on battery alone, engine alone or on both. The engine to the future model is expected to be a 1.8 liter 4-cylinder engine that can produce power up to 98 hp and torque of 105 lb ft. The new Hybrid Synergy Drive system to be used in the next generation model will be developed with significant improvements.
